Description
Ensure comprehensive Customer Service in the Store. Loading and merchandising of stock, shelf price labelling and housekeeping within designated area of responsibility.
Requirements
ยทย ย ย ย Grade 12 or minimum of 1 (one) year work related experience
ยทย ย ย ย Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available
ยทย ย ย ย Ability to perform basic calculations accurately
ยทย ย ย ย Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays
ยทย ย ย ย Must be able to work under pressure
Job Description
Customer Service
ยท ย ย ย Acknowledge all Customers and determine their needs
ยท ย ย ย Advise Customers correctly on product
ยท ย ย ย Assist Customer with any product queries
ยท ย ย ย Assist with Customer complaints timely
ยท ย ย ย Add on sales, e.g. paint v/s paint brushes, thinners, etc.
ยท ย ย ย Ensure efficient Customer service by ensuring that Customerโs purchases are loaded without any delayโs
ยท ย ย ย Ensure Customers purchase are loaded carefully without damaging the goods or the Customers vehicle
ยท ย ย ย Advise Customers on the additional services provided:
ยท ย ย ย Delivery service / bulk deposits
ยท ย ย ย Glass cutting
ยท ย ย ย Plan reading
ยท ย ย ย Credit programmes
ยท ย ย ย Special orders
ยท ย ย ย Trusses
ยท ย ย ย Distant ordering
ยท ย ย ย VIC Customer Programme
ยท ย ย ย Must be certified in Product Knowledge
ยท ย ย ย Must be available in aisle of responsibility
Housekeeping
ยท ย ย ย Ensure that your area is free of obstacles, stock is merchandised immediately after being received and that Customers can enter and leave your aisle without any risk of injury or irritation.
ยท ย ย ย Correct shelf price labelling within area of responsibility.
ยท ย ย ย Ensure Checklist completed as required when on duty with Canteen and Toilet / Showers schedule
Safety (OHSA) Requirements
ยท ย ย ย Safety (OHSA) compliance (e.g., use of safety gear, ensure Customer, and staff safety) within area of responsibility
ยท ย ย ย Ensure area of responsibility (racking and bulk) stock merchandised safe to Customers and Colleagues to move safely within Store
ยท ย ย ย Report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
Ready for Business
ยท ย ย ย Adhere to Ready for Business and Beyond my Control as per the CB Way
Loss Prevention and Security
ยท ย ย ย Identify any gaps in the displays, investigate causes and report any concerns to management
ยท ย ย ย Be aware of suspicious behaviours or people and report any suspicions to management
ยท ย ย ย No product to be loaded for a Customer without proof of purchase or required documentation
