This is a remote position.

An actuarial consulting firm is looking for an exceptional candidate to be the right-hand support to the CEO. The Business Operations Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of multiple business functions, including administrative tasks, project management, business development, and research initiatives. This role ensures the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, helping to drive strategic projects, analysing business data to inform decision-making, conducting research to support business strategies, and identifying growth opportunities in the market.

Key activities:

–        Business development – assist with business development activities and the design and implementation of new growth strategies

–        Project management – plan, execute, and oversee various projects to ensure on-time completion within scope and budget

–        Internal coordination – coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication

–        Communication – drafting, proofreading, and presenting reports and presentations

–        Research – conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to support strategic initiatives

–        Administration – oversee and manage administrative functions to ensure efficient operations

–        Meeting management – coordination of meetings, preparation of agendas, and minutes-taking

Requirements

Requirements:

–        Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Data Science, or a related field

–        Experience in project management, administrative management, and business development

–        High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software

–        Reliable high-speed uncapped fibre internet connection

An ideal candidate should:

–        be capable of logically and creatively solving complex problems

–        exhibit meticulous attention to detail

–        have excellent English written and verbal communication skills

–        be able to conduct structured research and derive meaningful conclusions from vast amounts of information
