Join our client as a Business Development Representative 

Working Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM ET, Monday to Friday

Position:   Business Development Representative (SA)

Salary Range:  $1,100-$1,500/mo based on experience – a base salary + commission.

Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Desired Start Date:  ASAP


We are a rapidly growing company that owns and remotely operates over 65 self-storage facilities, with plans for significant expansion. Our dedicated Customer Service team handles the entire storage unit rental process from start to finish over the phone. We’re seeking an experienced and driven sales professional to convert customer inquiries into new rentals.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Play a key role in our sales funnel by generating qualified leads through outbound cold calling.
  • Prospect for new clients, introduce them to our storage solutions, and build relationships to move them through the sales cycle.
  • Research and identify potential customers who align with our target market.
  • Leverage strong communication skills to engage prospects, identify their storage needs, and present solutions.
  • Maintain meticulous records of calls, interactions, and outcomes within our database.
  • Follow up on leads to nurture relationships and convert inquiries into rentals.
  • Continuously adapt and refine calling strategies based on feedback and results.

You’ll Be Successful If You Have:

  • A proven background in sales with a focus on exceeding targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and friendly British accent.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to multitask efficiently while on the phone.
  • A knack for retaining information and quickly learning new tasks and software (Easy Storage Solutions ‘ESS’ and Notion).
  • A responsible and reliable work ethic with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the self-storage industry is a plus.
  • A passion for exceeding customer expectations.
