Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Dispatch Clerk to join our team in Johannesburg.

This position reports to Supply Chain Coordinator/ Stock Controller/ Outbound Manager
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure correct dispatching of parcels, including weighing of parcels, and dispatching of parcels as per standard operating procedures and service level agreements;
- Check exception reports and provide feedback to all key stakeholders;
- Scan parcels and identify any discrepancies between own information and that of the courier company;
- Perform reconciliations of stock take;
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices;
- Identify, analyze and report on opportunities for growth, improved efficiencies, and achievements;
- Ensure effective customer relations management, making changes where appropriate to continually improve customer service, and addressing any escalated or long-standing problems; and
- Maintain accurate records of local deliveries.

Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- 1-2 years experience in a supply chain and/or warehousing environment
- Basic knowledge of relevant software packages and applications.
