Customer Engagement

• Perform daily cash-ups and ensure till balances at the end of your shift.

• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure speed of service.

Stock Management
• Receive new deliveries with care—check items against invoices and report discrepancies.

• Organize and store inventory efficiently in stockrooms or on shelves.

• Rotate stock to avoid expired or outdated products.

• Assist with basic stock-taking procedures during audits or month-end checks.

Store Presentation & Security
• Ensure the store always looks tidy, well-organized, and inviting.

• Report any damaged products, faulty equipment, or safety concerns.

• Follow all safety and security procedures, including shoplifting prevention.

• Keep emergency exits clear, report hazards, and promote a safe workspace.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements
• Matric / Grade 12 / NQF Level 4

• Fluent in English

• Clear criminal background check

• Must live within 15km of the store you are applying to

• Ability to work up to 27 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays

Preferred Experience
While not required, experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
