As a Blood Bank Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the accurate recording of requisition information and maintaining proper inventory of essential consumables. Your contribution will directly support the availability of safe blood products, helping to save lives across South Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform essential daily administrative tasks within the Blood Bank.
• Accurately capture requisition information into the computer system following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure high levels of quality compliance by following industry guidelines and internal protocols.
• Maintain and monitor the stock levels of critical and non-critical consumables to ensure smooth operations.
• Complete assigned general duties within designated timeframes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
• Work closely with the blood bank team to provide excellent service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.

Minimum Requirements:
Blood Bank Clerk Job
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Educational Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and at least one Science subject.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Meditech.
• Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not mandatory.
