As a Collections Agent (Chat Support) at Capitec Bank, your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients via calls and chat platforms to negotiate credit repayments. The role focuses on minimizing bad debt while ensuring excellent client service and retention.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Engagement: Communicate with clients via calls and chats to facilitate repayment agreements.
• Query Resolution: Address and resolve client inquiries related to collections in a professional and timely manner.
• Product Knowledge: Assist customers by providing relevant product details and support.
• Service Excellence: Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to the bank’s customer service protocols.
• SLA Compliance: Follow established service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and resolution.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience:
• 1 – 2 years of experience in a Collections or Sales Call Centre environment.
• Hands-on experience with Predictive Dialer, AWS Connect, and MS Teams.
• Strong understanding of call center procedures and collections processes.
Educational Qualification:
• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational Qualification (Minimum Requirement).
Essential Skills:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage client interactions effectively.
• Proficiency in an African language is an added advantage.
