A great opportunity has arisen for skilled gardeners to join Necsa’s team. We are looking for dedicated individuals to assist with maintaining and improving the landscaping across our site, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Maintenance & Landscaping
• Design and install seasonal flower arrangements and landscaping.
• Perform regular upkeep of lawns, trees, and garden areas, including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and pruning.
• Maintain common areas, ensuring they are tidy and well-kept.
• Remove weeds, apply mulch, and keep outdoor spaces free of debris.
• Monitor plant health and address pest infestations or diseases.
• Conduct basic maintenance and minor repairs as required.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.

Safety & Compliance

• Handle and apply gardening chemicals safely while adhering to SHEQ guidelines.
• Ensure proper use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Follow all safety protocols when working at heights or using equipment.
• Contribute to a clean and hazard-free environment.

Operational Efficiency

• Work according to set weekly and monthly schedules.
• Provide recommendations for garden improvement.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and accountability in daily tasks.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience with industrial gardening tools and machinery.
• Knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and other gardening chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify plant health issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Adaptability to changing tasks and working conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 10 qualification.
• Experience: At least 2 years of gardening experience (landscaping experience is an advantage).
• General:
• Physically fit and able to work at heights (rooftops, towers, etc.).
• Familiarity with using hand tools and gardening equipment.
