A permanent position has opened up for a General Laboratory Assistant specializing in Inventory and Processing. This role is crucial in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring the efficient handling of blood bank hampers, proper disposal of biohazardous waste, and maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a General Laboratory Assistant, your primary duties will include:
• Handling Blood Hampers: Preparation, collection, and organization of stock, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
• Biohazard Waste Management: Safe and efficient disposal of laboratory waste in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Daily Laboratory Support: Performing routine lab duties to maintain operational efficiency.
• Compliance with SHEQ Standards: Ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• General Laboratory Functions: Assisting with various tasks to support seamless lab operations.
