In this role, you will:

  • Engage customers and prospects via phone and email to identify sales opportunities for immediate closure, funnel placement or assignment.
  • Generate quotations and PFIโ€™s when required, complete tender documents and vendor application for peer review with Manager/Sales Team
  • Stand in for CSR as needed and assist with order processing using Oracle.
  • Assist sales team with SFDC updates and follow up as requested.
  • Work with the commercial team and channel partners to achieve customer service expectations

Are you qualified?

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, experience, and background to perform effectively in the role:

  • At least 1 year of experience preferably in the Analytical Instrumentation industry, as this is an internship, the ideal candidate is someone who wants to develop in an analytical sales function later in their career.
  • Preferred degree in Marketing or Business Administration or a related field or Diploma/Degree in Chemical/ Instrumentation engineering related studies will be advantageous.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork and ability to work across Cultures, Countries, Locations, and business teams.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, proficient in MS Office, good working knowledge of Excel and Salesforce.
