Job Introduction

A vacancy has arisen for an Inventory Technician at SANBS. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the supply and control of blood products within blood banks. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

โ€ข Ensure effective control and distribution of blood products.

โ€ข Maintain stock levels in accordance with operational requirements.

โ€ข Coordinate product availability for medical facilities.

2. Laboratory and Equipment Maintenance

โ€ข Conduct routine maintenance and ensure laboratory instruments function optimally.

โ€ข Adhere to safety protocols while handling equipment and inventory.

3. Quality and Compliance

โ€ข Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain regulatory compliance.

โ€ข Ensure all processes meet quality assurance standards.

4. General Operations

โ€ข Complete assigned tasks within set deadlines.

โ€ข Assist in other operational functions as required.

Minimum Qualifications

โ€ข Education: Matric certificate with Mathematics and at least one Science subject.
