Customer Service Agent
The Role
Pay: $750-$1,000 USD per month
We are a fast-growing startup looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Servicing and Collections team. Your primary objective will be to help students get on track and stay on track with their tuition obligation. You must be comfortable making and taking calls, negotiating and problem solving. You must be self-motivated, set high goals, and have experience in collections. Communication skills are essential.

– Location: 100% Remote (HQ is located in Salt Lake City, UT)
Role Responsibilities
- Field inbound calls from both students and schools.
- Make 125-200 outbound calls per day to delinquent students.
- Provide exemplary customer service in every interaction.
- Utilize technology to communicate w/ students via text, chat, and emails (Experience w/ Zendesk and Slack preferred).
- Work w/ students to get back on track and meet monthly collection goals.
- Manage escalated accounts and thoroughly review next steps.
- Follow all SOPs to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Role Requirements
- Extremely comfortable spending the day on the phone and interacting w/ people.
- Hard working and personally responsible.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of student loans and Income Share Agreements.
- Comfortable working fully remote.
- Experienced in working remote and utilizing avenues like Slack or Teams to stay connected throughout the day.
- Motivated and driven to reach goals.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Organized.
