Minimum Requirements

Key Performance Areas

• Facilitate group work, including therapeutic, educational, and support groups for clients
• Conduct community work focused on empowerment, advocacy, and developmental services
• Coordinate and integrate professional social work methods within a multidisciplinary approach
• Provide crisis intervention in emergencies in line with legislation
• Participate in policy implementation and adhere to approved City of Johannesburg policies and SOPs
• Supervise social work students and guide social auxiliary workers
• Maintain professional social work administration, including confidential data management
