Job Description
This is a remote position.
The supply chain department for a restaurant group is seeking a diligent and organised individual to join their team in a crucial support role. You will be responsible for managing shipment documentation, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is accurately filed and maintained.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, as this role supports the smooth operation of the shipment processes.
This fully remote position requires approximately 16 hours of work per week initially, decreasing to a maximum of 8 hours per week thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Open shipment folders upon receipt of new shipments.
- File documents into the appropriate shipment folders as they are received.
- Organise and file document packs into the corresponding shipment folders.
- Complete a cover page for each shipment, summarising high-level information.
- Fill out a check sheet for each shipment, detailing the documents included in the document pack.
- Input basic information into the costing sheet, which will be reviewed and signed off by the relevant party.
- Any ad-hoc administrative duties required
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to accurately manage and file shipment documentation
- Proficiency in handling and organising various types of documents
- Experience with completing and maintaining detailed records
- Competence in inputting information into costing sheets
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members
- Reliability and diligence in performing routine tasks
- Previous experience in a similar support role is preferred
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with document management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient shipment processes
