Salary: R138,486 per annum (plus benefits as applicable)

Minimum Requirements:

โ€ข Educational Background: Basic numeracy and literacy skills are essential.

โ€ข Experience: Prior experience as a driver will be an advantage.

โ€ข Licenses: Valid Code C1 driverโ€™s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is mandatory.

โ€ข Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment.

โ€ข Willingness to work outside normal hours, including standby duties and overtime.

โ€ข Must maintain sober habits at all times.

Key Responsibilities:


As a Cleaner at Caledon Hospital, you will be entrusted with a range of important support tasks, including but not limited to:
โ€ข Staff Transport: Safely transporting dental staff and equipment to various service points using the mobile dental unit.

โ€ข Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the mobile dental unit and associated equipment are clean, well-maintained, and operational at all times.

โ€ข Administrative Duties: Performing basic administrative tasks to support the oral health team and supervisors effectively.

โ€ข Support Services: Providing hands-on assistance to the oral health team during mobile outreach programs.

Your role will be vital to the smooth running of mobile dental services, helping to deliver quality oral healthcare to communities who need it most.
