As part of our trusted housekeeping team, your daily duties will include:
• Organizing and planning tasks to ensure all housekeeping duties are completed efficiently and to impeccable standards.

• Performing routine cleaning, laundry, stocking supplies, completing inventory checks, and reporting any maintenance concerns.

• Preparing and serving meals and beverages for both the Governor’s family and visiting guests, upholding the finest hospitality practices.

• Managing inventory by ordering food supplies, cleaning materials, and other consumables as required.

• Upholding the highest standards of etiquette when interacting with guests and residents, always maintaining a professional, service-oriented demeanor.

• Working collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure smooth, seamless household operations.

• Actively contributing to improving service delivery by embracing feedback and seeking continuous improvement in your work practices.

Candidate Profile: What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and passionate about hospitality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent qualification).

Experience:

• At least one year of hands-on experience in a hospitality environment, with a strong focus on executive-level housekeeping services.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• A solid understanding of food hygiene and health and safety standards.

• The ability to plan and manage household tasks independently.

• Skills in food and beverage preparation and service, using hospitality-grade utensils and equipment.

• Event management knowledge is an added advantage, particularly in managing guest services during functions.

• Strong skills in managing stock, maintaining inventories, and ensuring supplies are properly tracked and replenished.

• Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges proactively.

• Knowledge of proper serving etiquette and formal service protocols.

• Basic computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, crucial for reporting, liaising with suppliers, and engaging with colleagues and guests.
