Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine farm-related tasks.
• Oversee and manage the movement of cloven-hooved animals.
• Monitor, stop, register, and inspect vehicles in restricted areas.
• Conduct thorough checks on meat, dairy products, dung, grass, hides, and skins.
• Confiscate restricted products when necessary.
• Operate entry and exit gates.
• Report confiscated goods to supervisors for further action.
• Conduct routine patrols along the redline fence.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain fencing to prevent unauthorized access.
• Track and monitor animal movement along restricted areas.
• Clear bushes and debris along fencing zones.
• Manage quarantined animals and verify their permits.
• Work closely with Animal Health Technicians for necessary inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of permits, quarantined animals, and vehicle movements.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 10/ABET/AET or an equivalent qualification.
• A security qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• No prior experience required.
