Position: Learner Official Mining (18.2)
Group Shaft: C PtS Shared Serv Unit Learners MAR

Minimum Qualification Requirements:


• Grade 12 certificate, including Mathematics (pure, not Mathematical Literacy) and English.


Additional Requirements:


• Must be medically fit for work in a mining environment.
• Clear security clearance.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Prior experience in a similar field will be an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities:


Program Objectives:
• Understand and fulfill all learning program objectives and associated responsibilities.
• Complete all training modules within the set timeframe.
• Address any concerns or challenges related to the program by escalating them where necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Compliance:
• Follow all legal and safety guidelines.
• Perform all tasks according to industry standards, specifications, and training requirements.
• Attend safety meetings as needed.
• Use prescribed safety equipment correctly.
• Identify potential hazards and participate in job risk assessments.
• Maintain full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Reporting and Communication:
• Prepare progress reports for review by relevant stakeholders.
• Report any challenges or inconsistencies encountered.
• Share ideas and recommendations to enhance the program.
