Medirite Plus Daspoort is looking for six dynamic and customer-oriented Pharmacy Sales Assistants to support daily retail pharmacy operations. The ideal candidates should be able to assist customers, monitor store activities, process refunds, prevent theft, manage product displays, and offer expert advice on available products.

Key Responsibilities
• Processing sales transactions and reconciling receipts according to company policies.
• Staying informed about new products and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
• Restocking shelves and arranging merchandise as per store guidelines.
• Conducting price audits to detect and resolve pricing inconsistencies.
• Utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) system for customer payments.
• Providing expert recommendations based on customer needs.
• Staying informed about ongoing promotions and special deals.
• Maintaining high merchandising and store cleanliness standards.
• Managing customer inquiries efficiently and escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
• Matric / Grade 12 certificate (compulsory).
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 months’ experience working at a till point or cashier system within a retail setting.
• Proven background in retail sales.
Skills & Knowledge:
• Basic computer literacy.
• Bilingual proficiency (Afrikaans and English preferred).
• Friendly and engaging personality.
• Understanding of various payment methods (cash, bank cards, credit cards, vouchers, etc.).
• Familiarity with stock management and merchandising protocols.
• Strong grasp of customer service fundamentals.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
