1. Cooks – 2 Positions Available

SAPS Vacancies


• Annual Salary: R228,321

• Location: SAPS Academy, Philippi, Western Cape

Eligibility Criteria:
• Only South African citizens may apply.

• A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or a National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Level 4 is required.

• Must be fluent in at least two official languages, one being English.

• Clean criminal record is essential.

• Certification in food preparation or catering is beneficial.

• Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment.

• Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.

Main Responsibilities:
• Preparing meals for staff and trainees.

• Assisting in menu planning and kitchen organization.

• Managing food stock and kitchen supplies.

• Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in food areas.

• Serving meals and providing table service where needed.

2. Food Service Aids – 8 Positions Available

Who Should Apply:

• Grade 10 or equivalent is preferred.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and available to work overtime.

Key Duties:

Basic Requirements:

• Grade 10 is an advantage, though not required.

Main Responsibilities:
• Supervising kitchen and food service activities.

• Leading and managing support staff.
