The learnership is offered at the Amandelbult Complex under the Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) division. The following trades are available:
• Fitter – 8 positions
• Rigger – 4 positions
• Electrician – 4 positions
• Diesel Mechanic – 2 positions
• Boilermaker – 6 positions

Programme Overview
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Learnership Programme, ultimately leading to a recognized artisan qualification in their chosen trade.
Educational Requirements (Minimum)
• Matric Certificate with at least 40% in Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science, and English, OR
• N2 certificate (or higher) with relevant subjects for the chosen trade, OR
• NCV Level 4 in the appropriate trade, with a minimum 40% pass in all subjects.
Trade Test Requirements
Applicants must have at least:
• N2 Certificate with applicable subjects related to their trade, including:
• Mathematics
• Engineering Science
• Trade-Specific Theory
• OR NCV Level 4 in the appropriate trade with a minimum 40% pass in all subjects.
