Job Overview
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering dynamic learnership opportunities within its Manufacturing & Technical division. This program is tailored for young, driven individuals interested in building a career in the packaging sector. The selected candidates will work under the guidance of the Training Controller.
Program Purpose
The learnership is designed to provide candidates with valuable industry experience in food and beverage packaging. Participants will gain practical knowledge, enhance their skills, and earn a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF Level 3). The program also aims to improve career mobility within the beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
Key Learning Areas
As part of this learnership, participants will gain hands-on experience in:
• Understanding bottling processes and operational procedures
• Complying with safety and housekeeping regulations
• Conducting quality control tests and meeting industry standards
• Applying food handling and hygiene best practices
Essential Skills and Competencies
To succeed in this learnership, candidates should demonstrate:
• Self-motivation and eagerness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work well within a team-oriented environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
Education Requirements:
• Must have completed Grade 12 (Matric)
• Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Physical Sciences must be passed with a minimum of 50%
• Must have passed at least two South African languages with a minimum of 40%
• Applicants must not have completed a similar qualification or learnership at another institution
Additional Requirements:
• South African citizenship is mandatory
• Candidates must fall within the Employment Equity framework
• Must be unemployed at the time of application
• Age requirement: 18 to 35 years
• N5/N6 qualifications will be advantageous
