What You’ll Be Doing:

As our Proofreader, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and refining written content across various platforms. Your tasks will include:

• Ensuring consistent style, tone, and language use according to our content guidelines.
• Collaborating with writers, editors, and project managers to clarify intent and suggest improvements.
• Fact-checking names, dates, and data to maintain accuracy and credibility.
• Applying editorial standards and maintaining internal style guides for brand consistency.
• Managing deadlines effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Offering constructive feedback to help writers improve clarity and readability.
What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with a sharp mind and a genuine love of language. The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience as a Proofreader, Editor, or similar editorial role.
• A strong grasp of the English language, including advanced knowledge of grammar and syntax.
• A meticulous eye for spotting even the smallest inconsistencies.
• Familiarity with major editorial style guides such as APA, MLA, Chicago, or AP.
• The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once.
• A collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.
• A degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience using editing and proofreading tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or similar.
• Background in specialized industries (legal, technical, medical, or marketing) is a bonus.
